Jan Ferreira
Chief Executive Officer

Jan has over 20 years of experience, many of those with high growth, ASX-listed businesses having held senior accounting and operational roles in financial services and utilities after starting his career at Ernst & Young. He is a CPA (Australia), a Chartered Management Accountant (UK), and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Before his appointment to the CEO role, Jan was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Rent.com.au, and has previously been Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at ASX-listed ThinkSmart Limited where he was a key member of the team that created a patented online finance application system that doubled ThinkSmart's sales volumes through the development of its online transactional capability.

Sye Hughes
Chief Operating Officer

With 20 years of experience across sales, marketing and general management in the technology sector, including sales management roles at both REA Group and Domain, Sye has a proven track record in crafting data-driven growth strategies and implementing scalable tech stacks to drive efficiency, achieving impactful results with a ‘more with less’ approach.

Sye has a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University with majors in Marketing and E-Commerce.

Lee Swanson
Chief Technology Officer

For more than 20 years Lee has worked in software development, across a variety of roles and industries including marketing, manufacturing, and finance. Previous employers include Fujitsu, Wesfarmers, and Commonwealth Bank. During his time with CBA Lee led the design and development of many critical financial systems including loan application processing, account management, internet banking, and mobile banking applications.

With in-depth knowledge of many areas of software engineering, Lee uses his experience to establish and foster effective product delivery capability, with a strong focus on great business and customer outcomes.

Shane Lavagna-Slater
General Manager - Financial Products

Shane has over 20 years of financial services experience, across industry and in higher education. Previous industry experience includes ASX-listed companies, a multinational bank and a private equity-owned financial institution. Previous roles include new business manager, product management, facilitator and various other management roles.

Shane holds a PhD in Business Management, a Master of Commerce degree in Financial Management, and an executive education certificate from Harvard Business School. Shane is also a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Karen Koh
Group Financial Controller

Karen has more than 15 years experience across ASX-listed financial services and technology businesses, including leading the fund accounting, treasury management and accounting teams for ThinkSmart Limited's $100m securitised funding warehouse SPV.

Karen commenced her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, and was an internal auditor with BankWest. She is a member of CPA (Australia) and holds a Governance Certificate from Governance Institute of Australia.

Sandra Antipas
Manager - Customer Care

Sandra is a motivated, ambitious Customer Service leader with over 20 years of experience leading customer-facing teams in technology and finance businesses. Prior to joining Rent.com.au in 2016, she was the Operations Manager at ASX-listed online consumer finance business ThinkSmart Limited.

Sandra is committed to providing amazing Customer Service experiences to the renting community.
